Ethan Isaac is of counsel in the Cross-Border Practice Group of Ogletree Deakins and is based in the firm’s Morristown office. As part of a growing team of attorneys who handle employment-law matters worldwide, Ethan advises multinational and U.S.-based employers on building, managing, and reshaping international workforces. Ethan is bilingual in English and Hebrew and brings nearly a decade of combined law firm and in-house experience to his work supporting clients with operations around the globe.
Ethan counsels employers, whether long-established multinationals or companies newly expanding operations outside the United States, on efficiently and effectively managing international labor and employment issues in today’s global economy. He assists clients with preparing and implementing global and country-specific personnel policies, employment agreements, and onboarding programs; entity set-ups and M&A due diligence; incentive compensation programs; multi-country and local reductions in force, redundancies, and terminations; workplace investigations; mobility assignments; independent contractor arrangements; and intercompany transfers.
Ethan returns to Ogletree Deakins after several years in-house, where he served as principal legal advisor on day-to-day employment matters, workplace investigations, and litigation and directed compliance with federal and state employment laws, including the ADA, ADEA, Title VII, FMLA, and FLSA, for companies in the food services, retail and veterinary health industries.
Outside of the office, Ethan enjoys live theater, scuba diving and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
