Fauzia N. Amlani is a shareholder in the Atlanta office of Ogletree Deakins. She practices employment-based US immigration and represents clients in a wide range of industries, including life sciences, information technology, and financial services.
Fauzia takes a hands-on approach to guide her clients through the complex immigration system. She advises her clients on the development and implementation of immigration programs with the clients’ precise hiring, retention, and global mobility goals in mind. She provides comprehensive legal representation to multinational corporations, providing strategic advice on the full range of immigration benefits for their employees, while overseeing and managing temporary and permanent residency applications filed before various government agencies including the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and the U.S. Department of Labor. Additionally, she advises clients on immigration-related compliance matters, regulatory changes, and adjudicatory trends, and assists clients with developing and implementing internal immigration policies, working closely with Immigration Program Managers, in-house counsel, HR, and Global Mobility teams.
Fauzia also serves as co-chair of ODAlliance, Ogletree Deakins’ LGBTQ+ Affinity Group.
