Frank J. Mamana

Frank Mamana is a 1975 graduate of Capital University. He attended Cleveland Marshall College of Law, graduating in 1978, and also passed the Ohio Bar Exam in 1978. In 1979 and 1980 Frank was a District Hearing Officer for the Industrial Commission of Ohio, hearing workers’ compensation disputes. From 1980 to 1985, he was an associate as the Spohn and Sanislo law firm, attending work comp administrative hearings at the Industrial Commission of Ohio. He represented both injured workers and self-insured employers. In 1985 he opened his own law firm, focusing on workers’ compensation. From 2003 to 2024 Frank was an assistant attorney general with the Attorney General of Ohio. At the AG’s office he represented the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation on issues appealed to court. Frank retired from the Attorney General’s Office in May of 2024 and joined Ogletree Deakins on July 1st, 2024.
