Born in Bogota, Colombia, Heidy was inspired to pursue law through her grandmother’s advocacy work and her early exposure to the legal field. She earned her B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Business Administration from the University of California, Riverside, and studied abroad in London and Paris, focusing on comparative law, international policy, and human rights. She later earned her J.D. from the University of La Verne College of Law, where she competed on the national Moot Court team and served on the Alternative Dispute Resolution team.
Heidy has experience on both the plaintiff and defense sides of litigation. She has worked on Song-Beverly matters and has represented individuals, businesses, and insurers in personal injury, premises liability, and product liability, and general negligence cases. Her practice includes discovery, motion work, depositions, case evaluation, and strategic litigation planning. Prior to practicing law, she also gained project management experience in legal and technology sectors, strengthening her ability to manage complex matters efficiently.
