Throughout the entirety of her legal career, Jamey has represented individual investors, small businesses, professional athletes and sports teams, and multinational conglomerates in immigration matters spanning various industries including telecommunications, financial services, engineering, ecommerce, and technology.
Jamey provides thoughtful legal advice and counsel to her clients with a focus on immigration compliance, efficient program management, and employee experience. She partners and collaborates with her clients to ensure their immigration programs deliver value to their business and remain aligned with corporate values and culture. Â
Jamey offers in-depth experience and extensive expertise in:
- Designing agile, efficient green card programs that utilize all available green card pathways while remaining compliant with federal immigration laws and local pay transparency laws;
- Providing end-to-end immigration planning and support related to global corporate structure changes (i.e., mergers and acquisitions);
- Advising employers on all matters of immigration compliance including I-9 and E-Verify;
- Securing permanent residency for all categories of employment-based immigrant petitions, including individuals of extraordinary ability in the arts and sciences, outstanding researchers and multinational managers and
- Obtaining nonimmigrant classifications, including specialty occupation (H-1B and E-3), treaty investors (E-2), individuals of extraordinary ability in business and athletics (O-1), intra-company transfers (L-1A and L-1B), trade NAFTA (TN) and internationally recognized athletes (P-1) and their essential support personnel and (P-1S).
Jamey received her J.D. from the University Tennessee College of Law, where she served as a Research Editor for the Tennessee Law Review and volunteered at the University of Tennessee – College of Law Legal Clinic where she provided business-focused, transactional legal services under supervision of a practicing attorney during her third year.
