Janice focuses her practice exclusively on assisting employers with their employment law needs and challenges. She provides proactive advice to clients on workplace policies and procedures to comply with employment-related laws and avoid litigation.
Janice is an experienced litigator and trial attorney, defending employers in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies in connection with a broad range of employment matters, including those involving discrimination, harassment, whistleblower, and failure to accommodate claims. She has successfully defended employers in cases based on gender, sexual orientation, race, age, national origin, and disability discrimination allegations; retaliation and whistleblower allegations; and assault, breach of contract, trade secrets, failure to accommodate, and restrictive covenant claims. Janice regularly defends companies in cases brought under the Conscientious Employee Protection Act (CEPA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other federal and state employment laws.
Janice regularly counsels clients on employee discipline, layoffs and other terminations, personnel policies and procedures, and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and FMLA compliance. She directs and participates in internal investigations of harassment, policy violations, ethics issues, and other employment issues. Janice provides training to employers on these and other topics and is a regular speaker on employment law issues.

Janice is co-chair of the Employment Sub-Committee of the Burlington County Bar Association and is co-chair of the Labor and Employment Law Committee of the Camden County Bar Association. She has held each of these positions for more than 15 years. Janice served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Daniel H. Huyett, III, in the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania and to the Honorable Linda G. Baxter in the New Jersey Superior Court, Law Division. Janice graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and with highest honors from Rutgers Law School.
