Jeannie serves as Special Counsel with the firm’s EEO Advantage Program defending employers before federal and state administrative agencies against claims of discrimination and retaliation. She also provides advice and counseling to employers in a wide array of human resources matters, including discipline, discharge, wage payment and compensation, leaves of absence, employment applications, employee handbooks, employment policies, job descriptions, performance appraisals, drug and alcohol testing, employment and non-compete agreements, severance agreements, and reductions in force. She assists employers in ensuring compliance with employment-related statutes, including Title VII, the Family and Medical Leave Act, Age Discrimination Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, and other federal and state employment laws.

Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Jeannie gained over 30 years of experience in private practice and in-house in representing corporations and foreign sovereigns in a wide variety of employment and commercial litigation matters.
