Jeffrey J. Costolnick

Jeff Costolnick’s practice is focused on employment and business litigation, including employment agreement and restrictive covenant counseling and litigation, trade secrets and unfair competition, independent contractor relationships, workers’ compensation, and various other employment and personnel matters. Jeff received his Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from the University of Georgia and graduated cum laude from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor. While attending law school, Jeff served on the Mercer Law Review as Editor of the Annual Survey of Eleventh Circuit Law, served as student editor for the Journal of Southern Legal History, was a member of the Brainerd Currie Honor Society, and was the recipient of the Faculty Award for Outstanding Achievement in Legal Writing and the H.T. O’Neal Merit Scholarship, as well as other awards. Jeff has widespread experience representing private and government employers and insurers in the defense of employment related liability issues, and assisting with a broad range of human resources topics under federal and state law. Jeff is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association, the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce, the Associated General Contractors of America, and Atlanta Lawyers Club, and he has been a featured speaker at numerous legal education seminars.
