After completing clerkships at the trial and appellate level, Jessica has been practicing immigration law exclusively since 2006. She has expertise in a broad range of immigration matters, including family-based and employment-based applications for lawful permanent residency, nonimmigrant visa applications, naturalization, employer compliance, and hardship waivers. Her current practice focuses on assisting employers in multiple types of work visa petitions (E-2, H-1B, TN, L-1, O-1, etc.), as well as sponsorship applications for permanent residency (PERM labor certifications, multinational managers and executives, outstanding researchers, and aliens of extraordinary ability etc.). She is an active member of American Immigration Lawyers Association where she served as co-chair of the New Member Division from 2010 – 2012 and spoke at the AILA DC Chapter Fall Conference 2016 – Immigrant Visas – Non-Perm.

Jessica graduated cum laude from California State University, Los Angeles with a B.A. in Political Science. She received her J.D. from The George Washington University School of Law where she served on the Alternation Dispute Resolution Board and participated in the Consumer Mediation Clinic. While in law school, she worked as a law clerk for the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Maryland.
