Justin Allen is an employment and commercial litigator in the Indianapolis office. He has significant experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in cases involving the misappropriation of trade secrets, restrictive covenants disputes, employee raiding, and other unfair competition matters in courts across the country. Justin’s employment litigation background includes defending claims arising under Title VII, ADA, FMLA, and other state and federal anti-discrimination statutes.
In addition to litigation, Justin devotes much of his daily practice to client counseling. This includes helping employers draft, defend, and navigate non-compete agreements and the protection of trade secrets and confidential information in numerous states.
Justin was named the Indianapolis Bar Association’s 2018 Young Lawyer of the Year for his service to the bar and was recognized by the Indiana Lawyer as an “Up and Coming Lawyer” in 2018. He is an active member of the Indiana legal community and is a graduate of the Indiana State Bar Association’s Leadership Development Academy, Class VII.
Justin received his J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis, where he graduated cum laude and served on the Washington University Law Review. Prior to law school, Justin attended Millikin University in Illinois, where he graduated with distinction.
Outside of the legal community, Justin serves on the board of a local non-profit Hear Indiana, an organization which advocates for and provides resources to deaf Hoosier children and their families.
