Kimberly Karseboom is Of Counsel in Ogletree Deakins’ New York City office with more than 10 years of litigation experience. Kimberly has successfully litigated in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies, including the State Division of Human Rights. Kimberly has extensive experience with all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, motion practice, depositions, discovery, e-discovery procedures, mediation, settlement, and trials.

Apart from her litigation experience, Kimberly is well-versed in employment law and provides management-side advice and counseling to clients on workplace issues, including but not limited to, sexual harassment, discrimination, workplace violence, vaccine exemptions, wage and hour claims, and retaliation. She has represented commissioners of City agencies and understands the specialized counsel required for high-level managers, while also assisting smaller agencies and employers in navigating employment issues when they arise.

Prior to joining the firm, Kimberly was Senior Counsel with the Labor & Employment Division of the New York City Law Department where she practiced for more than ten years. Prior to her role as Senior Counsel, Kimberly managed a team of attorneys as Assistant Borough Chief for the Brooklyn Borough Unit and conducted training programs for new attorneys joining the Department. In law school, Kimberly participated in the Domestic Violence Clinic where she represented victims on domestic violence and assisted them with obtaining restraining orders.
