Laura M. Gonzalez

Laura M. Gonzalez is an associate attorney in the Miami office of Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. Her practice focuses primarily on labor and employment litigation, including claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour violations, disability accommodation, and violations of leave laws. Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Laura was an attorney at a litigation defense firm, where she focused primarily on insurance defense, including pre-litigation coverage opinions and insurance coverage litigation.

Laura received her Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law, where she graduated cum laude and was a Dean’s Merit Scholarship recipient. While in law school, Laura served as President of the Cuban American Bar Association and Director of Oral Arguments for the Moot Court Board of Appellate Advocates. She earned her undergraduate degree from the Honors College at Florida International University, where she also graduated cum laude.
