Lauren S. Titchbourne

Lauren regularly represents regional and multi-national clients through all stages of dispute resolution. From proactive advice and counsel to pre-litigation settlement negotiations, agency investigations, arbitration, and trial, Lauren ensures that her clients receive strategic and effective representation tailored to their unique needs. She has extensive experience working with employers in diverse industries, including manufacturing, retail, education, service, hospitality, healthcare, insurance, financial services, real estate, private equity, technology, and transportation.

With a robust background in providing outside general counsel services, Lauren has advised clients on a wide range of issues, including employee hiring, discipline, and termination; leaves and accommodations; mass reductions in force; regulatory compliance; and policy updates and procedure implementation. She also supports clients by conducting thorough internal workplace investigations related to allegations of discrimination, harassment, and violations of internal employer policies. Additionally, Lauren regularly represents clients before various regulatory bodies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the State of Washington Human Rights Commission (WHRC), the Seattle Office of Labor Standards (OLS), and the Department of Labor (DOL).

While Lauren enjoys providing advice and counsel, litigation holds a special place in her heart. Litigation in both state and federal court comprises the bulk of her practice. Her experience ranges from single-plaintiff discrimination, wrongful discharge, retaliation, and wage claims to complex class action litigation involving wage and hour, Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and other employment-related claims.

Beyond her professional practice, Lauren is deeply committed to giving back to the community through pro bono work. She actively volunteers with Kids in Need of Defense (KIND), representing unaccompanied minors to help them gain lawful residency in the United States. This work reflects her dedication to using her legal skills to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children.
