Ms. Aguilar represents employers across various industries, and takes pride in her ability to effectively advise and counsel her clients on a variety of employment related matters, and defend against employment law claims before administrative agencies and in federal and state court. Ms. Aguilar strives to provide her clients with prompt, cost effective, quality counseling and representation, focusing her efforts on understanding and anticipating her clients’ business needs, and collaborating to develop impactful business solutions. Ms. Aguilar works hard to develop close and productive relationships with each of her clients allowing for an increased level of confidence in her proposed strategies for the mitigation of liability relating to the handling of workplace issues as well as her representation in litigation.
Ms. Aguilar regularly defends employers against claims of workplace discrimination, harassment, retaliation, leave violations, and wage and hour claims under state and federal law. Ms. Aguilar also regularly counsels employers in matters related to state and federal statutes, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, and the Texas Labor Code. She also regularly represents employers before administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Texas Workforce Commission, and the Department of Labor. She provides daily advice to employers regarding complex human resources issues including compliance, internal procedures, employee training, and workplace investigations. She also reviews and drafts employment agreements, executive agreements, severance agreements, non-compete agreements, non-solicitation agreements, employee handbooks, and corporate policies.
Letty was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas and is a proud and active member of the community. Ms. Aguilar is married and resides in San Antonio, Texas with her husband.
