Macy Valdes is an associate in the Los Angeles office at Ogletree Deakins. Her practice focuses on representing employers in a wide array of employment-related disputes, including single-plaintiff discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and whistleblower claims, as well as representative wage and hour litigation and class actions.
Macy represents employers in state and federal courts, and before state and federal agencies, including the California Civil Rights Department, EEOC, and DLSE. Macy has experience in all phases of litigation, from case inception through arbitration, including dispositive motions.
While in law school, Macy served as Vice-Chair of the Moot Court team and was a member of the Thomas Jefferson Law Review. Macy also studied abroad in China where she took courses at Zhejiang University Guanghua Law School.
When not in the office, Macy enjoys traveling, rooting for the LA Rams, and spending time with her two doodles, Bentley and Charlie.
