As Director of Proposals, Madeline leads the firm’s Request for Proposal (RFP) and Pitch Team. In this role, she works closely with attorneys to develop proposals and pitches geared toward specific client needs. Madeline also conducts trainings for attorneys to educate them on the RFP process.
In addition, Madeline works with certain practice and industry groups within the firm to develop and implement business development and marketing strategies and to help them grow their practices. She also works with various teams within the firm’s Client Services department, including the public relations, editorial, and events teams.
Before joining Ogletree Deakins, Madeline represented employers in all aspects of labor and employment litigation, with a focus on ERISA class actions. Madeline defended companies, including healthcare entities, financial institutions, and insurance companies, and regularly handled large-scale discovery. She also defended employers in discrimination and wage and hour single-plaintiff litigation and class and collective actions, and she counseled clients on compliance with federal and state employment laws. Madeline regularly drafted articles and blog entries related to employee benefits law.
