Mason Gardner is an associate in Ogletree’s Houston office. Mason is well-versed in the human resources function as he defends employers against employment law claims and advises employers on a variety of employment and ERISA laws. More specifically, he serves clients in all areas of the employment function such as Title VII of the Civil Rights Act (discrimination, hostile work environment, retaliation, etc.), Age Discrimination (ADEA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), ERISA, and restrictive covenant agreements. He also drafts human resource documentation such as employment agreements, employee handbooks, retirement plans, and separation agreements.

Before joining Ogletree, he practiced employment and employee benefits law at large, global Am Law 20 and Am Law 200 firms. During law school, Mason served as the Executive Editor on the Houston Journal of International Law and was an active moot court team member.

Mason is an Eagle Scout. In his free time, he can be found participating in outdoor sporting activities, at the local CrossFit gym, and hiking national parks.
