Maya S. Ali

Maya joined Ogletree Deakins as an associate in 2025 and is a member of the employment law practice group. Maya attended the University of Houston for her undergraduate studies, where she studied political science and public health and graduated summa cum laude in 2021. She received her J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2025 and is admitted to practice in Texas. During her time as a law student, Maya joined the Entrepreneurship Clinic and was president of the First Generation Law Students Association.

Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Maya worked at a business law firm in Dallas, Texas as well as an immigration firm where she handled and assisted with various visa case types.

Maya loves to volunteer with her family and in her free time enjoys hiking with her dog, baking, and watching documentaries.
