Michael L. Vaglica

Michael Vaglica joined Ogletree Deakins as an associate in April 2025. He represents employers in state and federal courts, as well as administrative agencies, on a wide range of employment-related matters, including allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination. Michael also has experience litigating complex ERISA cases in federal courts across the country.

Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Michael was a law clerk for a federal judge in the District of Colorado for a term of two years. Subsequently, he was an associate at a multinational law firm in its Manhattan and Boston offices. At that firm, Michael was part of the Investment Management practice group and focused on ERISA litigation. Additionally, he was an associate with a boutique civil litigation firm, and most recently he was an Assistant Attorney General in the Trial Division of the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office where he specialized in defending the Commonwealth and its agencies in employment-related lawsuits.
