As a former Assistant Attorney General with the Virgin Islands Department of Justice, Michael successfully argued before the Third Circuit Court of Appeals in employment, trademark, and tax disputes. He has also acted as both lead counsel and a representative of the Virgin Islands in highly consequential state antitrust and consumer protection enforcement actions. Michael has also appeared before numerous judicial and administrative forums in the Virgin Islands, including the Virgin Islands Supreme and Superior Courts and the Virgin Islands Public Employees Relations Board.

He has built a stellar reputation in the Virgin Islands legal community and innumerable relationships within all levels of local and federal government.
