Nicole Goulard joins Ogletree Deakins Paris office as a partner.
Nicole began her career with a 15-year stint at PWC Avocats (ex Landwell) in Paris, where she was a partner in charge of HR tax and legal services. She served in key roles at two other French law firms before forming her own at GFD Avocats, for four years.
Nicole Goulard has a wealth of experience in corporate governance, executive compensation and management packages, stock plans, and social and tax issues related to international mobility.
Nicole assists her clients, mainly family groups listed or non-listed, shareholders and executives. She also advises family offices. She has developed a large range of expertise in assisting international mobility of individual and assets and in setting up national and international share schemes (stock options, restricted stock units, warrants, carried interest…).
She also advises management teams in private equity transactions.
She has developed a strong expertise, in international context, on both legal and tax aspects.
Nicole Goulard earned her undergraduate business and tax degree with honors from Paris I – Panthéon Sorbonne University and postgraduate from Sciences Po Paris.
She is a member of the French Institute of Tax Lawyers (Institut des Avocats Conseils Fiscaux) and a lecturer at the University of Paris I – Panthéon Sorbonne.
She is a regular speaker at conferences and seminars and had contributed to various publications.
