Nohl C. Speck

Associate   |   Seattle

Nohl Speck is an associate in the Seattle office of Ogletree Deakins. His practice focuses on cases involving pay transparence and wage and hour complaints.

Before joining Ogletree, Nohl practiced at a mid-size general litigation defense firm where he specialized in personal injury, employment, construction, and professional liability defense work. He earned his BA from Idaho State University in 2016 and subsequently graduated from the University of Idaho College of Law. During his time in law school, he served as the Secretary of the Student Body Association and actively participated in two moot court competitions.

Before embarking on his legal career, Nohl was a middle school Geography teacher in Idaho. This role honed his skills in collaboration and communication, as he worked closely with parents, administration, and fellow educators to set and achieve educational goals.

In 2020, Nohl and his wife relocated to the greater Seattle area, drawn by the region’s natural beauty, hiking and biking trails, and numerous lakes and rivers. They have two young children, and outside of the office, they enjoy spending time at the lake, exploring new areas, and barbequing in their backyard.
