Olivia Tessema

Olivia Tessema joined Ogletree Deakins in July 2026 as an associate in the Employment Law team.

Admitted to the bar in 2018, she advises and represents French and international companies on a broad range of employment law matters, covering both individual and collective labor relations. She regularly assists employers in managing disciplinary and termination proceedings, negotiating severance agreements, conducting internal investigations, and negotiating and drafting collective bargaining agreements and organizing employee representative elections.

With over eight years’ experience dedicated exclusively to labor law, Olivia regularly handles individual and collective litigation, social security disputes, and criminal labor law matters. She advises and represents companies in various sectors, including manufacturing, telecommunications, retail, real estate, defense, cybersecurity, and construction.

She has also gained international experience during a secondment to a legal department in the United Kingdom, where she worked on labor law and personal data protection matters.
