Rebecca Singer-Miller focuses her practice on labor and employment law, representing public- and private-sector clients in employment matters before state and federal courts, arbitrators, and administrative agencies, including the Ohio Civil Rights Commission and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Rebecca effectively represents clients in a broad range of workplace disputes, including wrongful discharge, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, workplace accommodations, and restrictive covenants. She also provides day-to-day employment counseling and advises clients on workplace handbooks, policies, and employment agreements. Before joining Ogletree, Rebecca acquired substantial litigation and advocacy experience at a respected Cleveland-based firm, where she handled employment, education, and other complex legal disputes.
As a Michigan native, Rebecca earned her bachelor’s degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, and her law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. While at Case Western, Rebecca cultivated her appellate advocacy skills by participating in the Appellate Litigation Clinic and competing in the March Madness-style 2022 Dean Dunmore Moot Court Competition (Final Four) and the ABA’s 2023 National Appellate Advocacy Competition. Rebecca also served as President of the Women’s Law Association and on the Executive Board of Health Matrix: Journal of Law-Medicine, Case Western’s nationally ranked health law journal.
Rebecca is a member of the FDCC Ladder Down Cleveland Class of 2026 – a year-long program that provides direct training and career development to empower women lawyers in three critical areas: leadership, business development, and mentoring.
Outside the office, Rebecca enjoys traveling and being active outdoors, or staying in with a cup of coffee and a good book.
