Ben McGiffin focuses his practice on employment litigation and counseling employers in all areas of federal and state employment law, including compliance with Title VII, the ADEA, the ADA, the FMLA, USERRA, and various state laws and common law theories. Ben has experience with First Amendment and Whistleblower claims. Ben also has substantial experience defending clients against accessibility complaints and working with clients to ensure accessibility compliance.
Before joining Ogletree, Ben was an associate in the Pittsburgh office of a national labor and employment law firm.
In addition to his civilian law practice, Ben serves as a Reserve Judge Advocate in the Army JAG Corps.
