Rose provides legal counsel to non-profit and corporate clients, leveraging her experience as a litigator to assist them with various employment issues. Her expertise includes handling employment and public accommodation discrimination and retaliation claims under federal civil rights statutes such as 42 U.S.C. ยง 1981, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Equal Pay Act, as well as under Colorado state law, including Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act (CADA) and Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Roseโs practice also includes representing clients in wage and hour actions arising under state and federal wage and hour laws. In addition to litigating on behalf of her clients, Rose provides client counseling on a variety of issues, including terminations and reductions, the interactive process under the ADA, Colorado’s Healthy Families and Workplaces Act (HFWA), Family and Medical Leave Insurance Program (FAMLI), and Protecting Opportunities and Workers’ Rights (POWR) Act. ย This area of Roseโs practice includes drafting compliant policies and handbooks.ย
Prior to joining Ogletree, Rose worked for a full-service AM100 law firm in the firmโs employment group. She was also a judicial extern for Federal Judge S. Kato Crews of the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado and for Judge Rebecca R. Freyre of the Colorado Court of Appeals. In her free time, Rose enjoys skiing, biking, and traveling.
