Ryan A. Mosser is an associate attorney whose practice focuses on employment-based immigration. He represents clients across industries, including airlines, automotive, biotechnology, and information technology, advising on immigration programs aligned with their hiring, retention, and global mobility goals. As a naturalized U.S. citizen, Ryan brings personal insight to his practice. Working closely with in-house counsel, Human Resources, and Global Mobility teams, he handles both temporary and permanent residency matters, including H-1B, E-3, L-1, O-1, and TN nonimmigrant visas, as well as PERM labor certifications and EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, and national interest waiver immigrant petitions.
Ryan advises clients on immigration compliance, regulatory changes, and adjudicatory trends, including I-9 issues. He also counsels on immigration impacts related to corporate restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, and reductions in force.
Ryan earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry, from the University of South Carolina. He then served with distinction in the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division, winning the U.S. Army’s Best Mortar Competition in 2017 and 2018 and representing the United States in international skill-based competitions and operations.
After completing his military service, Ryan returned to the University of South Carolina for his legal education. He graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctorate and earned an International Master of Business Administration from the Moore School of Business. During law school, he served as Associate Editor in Chief of the South Carolina Law Review, President of the Veterans in Law Society, and interned with a Federal District Court Judge.
