Ryan Finn is an associate with the San Francisco office of Ogletree Deakins. His practice focuses on representing and counseling employers through all phases of litigation in state and federal court as well as arbitration in single-plaintiff discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination and other related claims. Ryan has successfully litigated cases for a diverse group of clients including in the hospitality, retail, biotech, automotive, and software industries.

Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Ryan worked at an all-service law firm in the Bay Area where he litigated on behalf of clients of all sizes in general commercial and employment-related claims.

Ryan is a graduate of Boston University School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor. During law school, Ryan worked as a student attorney in Boston University’s Housing, Employment, Family & Disability clinic where he represented clients in unemployment compensation appeals and wage and hour violation claims. Ryan also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Judge O. Rogeriee Thompson of the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and was a member of the Boston University Journal of Science & Technology Law. Ryan earned his B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

In his spare time, Ryan loves to travel and spend time with his family, including his wife, daughter and two dogs. Ryan also competes in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, powerlifting and frequently attends concerts or other live events.
