Sarah G. Bennett

Shareholder   |   Denver

Sarah Bennett is a shareholder in the Denver office, where she represents employers in all aspects of employment litigation and counseling. Her litigation practice focuses on defending employers against claims of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, as well as single-plaintiff, class action, and California Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) wage and hour claims. She regularly appears in state and federal courts and administrative agencies in Colorado, Utah, and California.

On the counseling side, Sarah is a trusted resource for HR professionals and business leaders navigating the day-to-day realities of running a workforce. She advises clients on hiring, discipline, terminations, leave and accommodation, and multistate compliance. She drafts and updates employee handbooks and policies, leads management and anti-harassment trainings, and conducts internal workplace investigations into sensitive complaints.

Before joining Ogletree Deakins, Sarah spent several years at a national law firm dedicated to labor and employment law, where she built a multistate practice spanning Colorado, California, and Utah. A Denver native, Sarah is active in the local legal community through membership in several bar and community organizations.
