Sarah Humble frequently litigates a variety of employment matters, including single-plaintiff harassment, discrimination and retaliation claims under both state and federal law, restrictive covenants, and misappropriation of trade secrets. Sarah also has extensive experience with general civil litigation matters, including claims of breach of contract, defamation, fraud, and negligent misrepresentation, and in complex litigation under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).
Sarah is skilled in both state and federal courts, as well as arbitration and mediation. Her experience includes defeating class certification and obtaining summary judgment for her client in multi-party litigation and obtaining dismissals of discrimination and retaliation claims at the pleading stage. Sarah also regularly negotiates favorable settlements for her clients, including many settlements reached pre-litigation.
Sarah also leads internal investigations and provides practical guidance to employers in addressing day-to-day legal issues and assessing risk.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with her family.
