Scott Kuhagen’s practice is focused on employment-based immigration matters. He has extensive experience in providing immigration counsel and guidance to corporate clients in the technology, manufacturing, aerospace, financial services, higher education, and engineering industries, from large companies to small businesses. His nonimmigrant visa petition experience includes H-1B, L-1 (blanket and individual), O-1, and TN matters, as well as filings in the E-2, E-3, J-1, and P-1 categories. His immigrant visa petition experience includes all phases of the PERM process as well as EB-1, EB-2, and EB-3 immigrant petitions, plus adjustment of status. Further, Scott has also overseen J-1 waiver and naturalization matters. On a pro bono basis, he has provided immigration legal assistance to families in the U.S. Armed Forces, through the American Immigration Lawyers Association Military Assistance Program.
Before attending law school, Scott worked at a national faith-based refugee resettlement agency and a consulting firm for nonprofits.
