Sona P. Patel

Sona P. Patel is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Ogletree Deakins. Sona primarily specializes in defending employers in large wage and hour class actions and California’s Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) representative actions. She also routinely handles single Plaintiff wage and hour cases on behalf of employers. Sona has represented both local and national companies in the automotive, technology, fitness, and retail spheres. She strives to learn about her client’s practices and needs in order to not only handle current cases, but also provide preemptive safeguards.

Sona received her J.D. from Loyola Law School and she received her B.A. from Pitzer College
majoring in History with honors. During law school, Sona participated in the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review as a production editor and served on the Thurgood Marshall Memorial Moot Court team.
