Stephen Dolar is an associate at the San Diego office. Stephen has experience in various phases of litigation, including pre-trial, discovery, and trial. His experience includes single and multi-plaintiff actions in civil court and arbitration involving discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wrongful discharge under California law. He has also assisted in researching and drafting a Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal brief resulting in vacating and remanding a district court’s decision.
Stephen sharpened his trial skills after law school by completing a 4-week trial advocacy program with the San Diego Inn of Court. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law. During law school, he served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Joel R. Wohlfeil, a trial judge in the San Diego Superior Court. This highly valuable experience allowed him to work directly with one of the most active superior court judges in California. Stephen received direct feedback on his legal research, honed his persuasive writing skills, and received guidance on oral advocacy and trials. His experience in Judge Wohlfeil’s courtroom provides him with significant insight on preparing the strongest possible case for clients.
Before law school, Stephen received his Bachelor of Science degree in economics, summa cum laude, from California Polytechnic State University in 2018.
