Tanner D. Webber

Tanner Webber defends employers in complex workplace disputes, giving clients an insider’s view of how judges decide cases. Before joining Ogletree Deakins, he spent fifteen years at the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon. He served as the career law clerk to U.S. Magistrate Judge Stacie F. Beckerman, following a nearly four-year clerkship with the late U.S. Magistrate Judge Dennis J. Hubel and an externship with U.S. Magistrate Judge John V. Acosta. Managing active dockets of up to eighty civil cases, he drafted more than 500 opinions across every stage of litigation—including in numerous labor and employment actions. Today, he draws on this rare vantage point to defend management in federal and state courts, as well as agency proceedings before the EEOC and BOLI.
