Tyler is a strategic advisor to employers and focuses on solving employment law problems, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblowing, wage and hour, restrictive covenants, and workplace violence.

With a strong background in regulatory law and compliance, Tyler specializes in assisting clients in heavily regulated industries, such as healthcare, navigate labor and employment compliance. Tyler partners with employers to conduct internal investigations, draft compliance programs and codes of conduct, and enforce restrictive covenants in employment agreements.

Tyler’s recent experiences include:

  • Investigating allegations of C-Suite white collar crime and embezzlement in an international corporation;
  • Investigating allegations of employee embezzlement and civil theft schemes;
  • Investigating alleged violations of federal whistleblower laws, including Sarbanes-Oxley, Dodd-Frank, and False Claims Act;
  • Investigating allegations of fraud, waste, and abuse for clients in the healthcare, aerospace, and construction industries;
  • Responding to HIPAA breach incidents for several national health systems;
  • Defending employers and third parties against aiding and abetting claims under the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act;
  • Litigating False Claims Act cases, including qui tam actions involving Anti-Kickback Statute and Anti-Kickback Act allegations;
  • Litigating the enforcement of restrictive covenants against healthcare professionals in the Rocky Mountain region;
  • Representing a national health system against allegations of violations of ADA and the provision of reasonable accommodations
  • Defending a national construction and petroleum company against complex claims of race, national origin, and disability discrimination.
