Vi Applen

Vi Applen is of counsel at the firm’s Los Angeles office. Vi represents employers both in state and federal court, and focuses her practice on complex wage-and-hour class, collective, and PAGA representative actions alleging overtime, minimum wage, meal and rest period, waiting time penalty and wage statement claims. She has experience defending employers in various industries, including manufacturing, agriculture, transportation, food service, and insurance.

Vi also has significant experience advising and defending clients in single plaintiff employment matters asserting a variety of employment related claims, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour.

Vi is a double-Bruin having received her B.A. in World Arts and Cultures from UCLA and her J.D. from UCLA’s School of Law.
