On September 30, 2019, the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) announced that the agency had again changed key provisions of its workplace examination rule. These changes address the timing of exams and which “adverse conditions and corrective actions” must be recorded. This webinar will review the changes, provide an update on the status of ongoing litigation concerning the rule, and examine enforcement trends and compliance challenges that mine operators are currently facing. The program will also detail best practices utilized by operators in meeting their workplace examination obligations.
