Over the last few weeks, two drug manufacturers announced the results of late-stage trials for COVID-19 vaccines, and some manufacturers now say they are poised to launch widespread distribution of their vaccines by April 2021. Employers planning for the arrival of a vaccine are facing an array of issues to consider when implementing vaccination-related policies. Although mandatory vaccination policies may be legal if worded properly, implementing such policies can prove challenging, at least in the near term. In this webinar, our speakers will discuss relevant factors employers may want to consider when implementing vaccination policies such as whether they should be voluntary, mandatory, or some hybrid of both, as well as maintaining employee morale, handling enforcement issues, and managing accommodation requests. The webinar will also cover practical issues regarding distribution of a new vaccine, the administrative burden of implementing a new policy, and the costs associated with vaccinatating employees.
