Claudia and Amanda’s practices are focused on employment-based immigration in the technology and bioscience sectors, including the energy, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing industries. Both join Ogletree Deakins from Larrabee Albi Coker, LLP, where they were partners.
Claudia has represented and advised clients on employment-based immigration matters for more than 15 years with experience in nonimmigrant visas, immigrant visa matters covering all aspects of the permanent residency process, extraordinary ability filings, outstanding researchers, multinational executives/managers classification, and national interest waivers. She also advises on I-9 compliance issues. Claudia earned her J.D. from the University of San Diego and her B.A. from the University of California, San Diego.
Amanda has provided comprehensive representation for clients in all areas of employment-based immigration for over 15 years, including temporary visas, employment-based permanent residency options to include labor certification, multinational executive/manager classification, extraordinary ability filings, outstanding researchers, and national interest waivers. She also routinely advises clients on various compliance issues, including I-9, E-Verify, and Public Access File regulatory requirements. Amanda earned her J.D., cum laude, from California Western School of Law and her B.S. from the University of Arizona.
Claudia and Amanda are both active members of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and Lawyers Club of San Diego. Claudia currently serves as Chair of the AILA San Diego Chapter U.S. Consulate General Committee.
