On May 13, 2020, the Wisconsin Supreme Court struck down the state’s Safer at Home order that was set to expire on May 26, 2020. In response, many cities and counties issued their own safer at home orders with varying restrictions on both businesses and individuals. Meanwhile, the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation has issued guidelines providing recommendations for certain industries as they plan to reopen. Federal agencies such as the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration have issued guidance as well. In this webinar, the speakers will help employers wade through the abundance of information as they adapt to the “new normal.” The speakers will also discuss the difficult issues employers are facing, including employee refusals to work, workplace safety and health directives, and best strategies for reopening their businesses or returning to their physical workplaces.
