On April 15, 2024, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) published its final regulations on the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA). In this webinar, the speakers will provide insights on how the final regulations compare to and contrast with the proposed regulations. The webinar also will cover how the final regulations both are in accordance with and significantly depart from interactive process and reasonable accommodation practices under the Americans with Disabilities Act. In addition, the speakers will review the final regulations’ documentation requirements and long list of medical conditions related to pregnancy and childbirth, as well as examples of reasonable accommodations for pregnancy-related conditions.
