OSH Law Primer, Part I: Understanding the OSH Act and OSHA

Join us for OSH Law Primer, a new webinar series that will provide attendees with an overview of the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Act, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and how both influence workplaces in the United States. The first webinar in the series will cover the purpose and scope of the OSH Act. It will also examine which states have their own OSHA-approved workplace safety and health programs, commonly known as “state plans.” Future topics will include OSHA’s rulemaking process, the General Duty Clause, recordkeeping and reporting, OSHA citations, preemption, and employment law issues related to workplace health and safety.
