Join us for OSH Law Primer, a webinar series that will provide an overview of the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Act, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and how both influence workplaces in the United States. The fourth webinar in the series will cover Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act, also known as the General Duty Clause. OSHA uses the General Duty Clause to cite employers when there is no specific regulation or standard applicable to the health or safety hazard in question, but the hazard is recognized by the employer or industry. This webinar will offer tips on how employers can limit their risk under the General Duty Clause.
