NASHVILLE – June 14, 2022 – Ogletree Deakins, one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, is pleased to announce Luther Wright, of counsel in the firm’s Nashville office and Assistant Director of Client Training, has been named co-chair of Ogletree Deakins’ Black Attorney Resource Group (ODBAR). Wright will serve as co-chair alongside Brandon Shelton, a shareholder based in the firm’s Charlotte and Indianapolis offices.
ODBAR serves as a resource to support Ogletree Deakins’ commitment to diversity by creating and fostering an environment of inclusiveness for Black and African-American attorneys through active involvement in the firm’s business development, recruitment, retention, and advancement opportunities.

In addition to his role as ODBAR co-chair, Wright is a member of Ogletree Deakins’ Diversity & Inclusion Practice Group and routinely provides timely client advice and guidance on diversity related matters. He devotes a significant amount of his day-to-day practice on client advice, training, and employment discrimination litigation. Wright is also the firm’s Assistant Director of Client Training on the Ogletree Deakins Learning Solutions team, which provides employee and supervisor training in a variety of formats.
