Join us for an informative update on the Oregon Workplace Fairness Act and key provisions of the law that will take effect on October 1, 2020, including new requirements for written policies prohibiting unlawful discrimination and harassment, prohibitions of certain nondisclosure, nondisparagement, and norehire provisions, and voiding “golden parachutes” for managers who violate the law. The speakers will also discuss provisions of the Oregon Workplace Fairness Act that took effect last year, including an extended statute of limitations for certain claims, as well as practical considerations related to the law’s new requirements.
