• Advises on breach of contract/implied contract, discrimination, harassment, wage/hour, ADEA, ADA, FMLA and wrongful termination matters
• Counsels clients on disciplinary matters, personnel issues, and the interpretation and application of various federal and New Mexico employment laws
• Litigated breach of contract, wrongful termination and other New Mexico state law claims for employers in healthcare industry
• Litigated numerous cases for employers in federal courts involving claims of discrimination and retaliation under Title VII, ADEA, ADA, FMLA and § 1981
• Litigated numerous cases for employers in New Mexico state courts involving claims of breach of contract, breach of the covenant of good faith & fair dealing, wrongful termination, prima facie tort, negligent misrepresentation and discrimination under the New Mexico Human Rights Act
• Defense verdict for a healthcare client in a federal court bench trial involving claims of age and national origin discrimination
• Dismissal of probable cause findings and agency complaints following administrative trials before a state EEO agency in sex and disability discrimination cases
• Judgment as a matter of law at the close of all the evidence in multi-day jury trial in which the plaintiff had alleged claims for invasion of privacy and constructive discharge
• Jury verdict in multi-day jury trial in which plaintiff alleged breach of contract claims
