The State of California is implementing broad and sweeping COVID-19 regulations through California’s Occupational Safety and Health Standards Board. On November 12, 2020, the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health (Cal/OSHA) announced proposed temporary COVID-19 regulations, on which the Standards Board voted, on November 19, 2020. The speakers will explain the new requirements imposed by the regulations including provisions regarding training, hazard identification, hazard mitigation, COVID-19 testing, recordkeeping, and leave from work.
