On August 11, 2023, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) published its proposed regulations on the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act. In this webinar, the speakers will provide insights on how the proposed regulations expand upon employers’ responsibilities. The webinar also will cover how the proposed regulations both are in accordance with and significantly depart from interactive process and reasonable accommodation practices under the Americans with Disabilities Act. In addition, the speakers will review the proposed regulations’ documentation requirements and long list of medical conditions related to pregnancy and childbirth, as well as examples of reasonable accommodations for pregnancy-related conditions.
