  • An amendment to Labor Code section 351 that empowers the state labor commissioner to investigate and issue citations and fines for tip theft.
  • New regulations under the Fair Employment and Housing Act that prohibit the use of artificial intelligence and automated decision-making systems in hiring, promotion, and other employment practices.
  • An expansion of workplace protections for victims of violence.
