Ogletree Deakins Welcomes Back Employment Litigator Carolyn Enciso Sieve as Shareholder in Orange County

   |   Press Release

COSTA MESA, Calif. – July 6, 2026 – Ogletree Deakins, one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, is pleased to welcome Carolyn Enciso Sieve back to the firm’s Orange County office as a shareholder.

“Carolyn is a well-known and respected employment litigator in Orange County, and we are thrilled to have her back,” said Michael Sexton, office managing shareholder in Orange County. “Her experience handling employment litigation across a broad range of industries, combined with her practical approach to advising employers at every stage of the legal process, makes her an invaluable resource for our clients.”

Sieve represents employers in state and federal court litigation, arbitrations, mediations, and administrative proceedings. She handles matters involving discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wage and hour issues, the California Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA), and unfair competition and trade secrets. Sieve manages lawsuits involving individual plaintiffs as well as class and representative actions from risk assessment through trial.

In addition to her litigation work, Sieve advises on general workplace issues, conducts workplace investigations, and reviews employment policies. She counsels employers across various industries, including retail, logistics, transportation, security, healthcare, entertainment, technology, construction, financial services, manufacturing, restaurants, and hospitality.

Sieve earned her J.D. from the Temple University Beasley School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Arizona. She is a founding member of the Filipino-American Lawyers of Orange County (FLOC), where she serves on the board of governors and as treasurer.

Sieve joins a growing trend of shareholders returning to the firm after stints elsewhere, including Paul Rinnan in Houston, Harold Jones in San Francisco, Jennifer Santa Maria in San Diego, Frank Birchfield in New York, Michael Nacchio in Morristown, NJ, Sara Olschewske in Greenville, SC, and Abigail Wallach in Chicago — all of whom have rejoined the firm since the start of 2025.
